“BattleEye uses a smart, dynamic, and fast detection system that quickly removes unrelenting cheaters."Developers have been trying all sorts of things to keep cheaters at bay. “BattleEye is Destiny 2's proactive anti-cheat protection that protects our game and players from hacking, cheating, and other harmful attacks,” said Bungie in its update 3.2.0 patch notes. Bungie introduced it after the game’s Crucible and Gambit modes were being plagued by hackers.Hopefully, BattleEye and TPM 2.0 will be able to deter the growing number of cheaters that are plaguing most multiplayer games. It doesn’t give hackers the space they’d need in order to find a workaround to the anti-cheat software. The preview version of the new OS is already being used by some players who reported that error messages stating that Valorant’s anti-cheat software, Vanguard, requires TPM 2.0 as well as Secure Boot enabled before being kicked out. This preemptive move by Riot games seems like the right way to go.
